Jeffrey Weisberg is a co-founder and former board member of The Peace Alliance, the organization that is spearheading the campaign to establish a US Cabinet Level Department of Peace.  He, along with his wife Heart Phoenix, are launching a non-profit organization called "Center for Peacebuilding".  The organization will focus on a local level providing programs and services cultivating the necessary skills to promote peaceful relationships on all levels.   Through the use of mediation, communication skills, youth empowerment workshops, gender healing, civic activism and collaboration with the local peacebuilding community, we will develop a model that can be replicated.
