I am working on my Phd in philosophy of education focusing on peace education at the University of Toledo.  I am also teaching philosophy and ethics at Marist College in Pougheepsie, NY.

My research interests are exploring the philosophical foundations of peace and peace education.  I am also interested in student activism and learning through service learning and student organizations. Part of this work revolves around the peace education network, which I have worked to organize at Columbia and The University of Toledo.
