My commitment to peace education is based in higher education teaching and curriculum development for peace studies and conflict transformation. My work focuses on how cosmopolitanism can be a foundation for university peace studies that engages its youth in peacebuilding as a community process. Community-based learning and advocacy work are components of this pedagogy to meet the needs of preparing peace workers. Internationally, I work collaboratively on creating and implementing research and evaluation methods for peace education settings in post/conflict societies.
