Ellen Rosner Feig is currently a professor of composition and literature at Bergen Community College in New Jersey where she specializes in American Ethnic Literature and American Literature of the 1800-1900s. Ellen is chair of the Awareness and Advocacy Initiative of the Center for Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation which focuses on education in the area of conflict resolution and genocide history. She is a Carl Wilkens Fellow with Genocide Intervention Network/Save Darfur and is one of the founding members of W.R.I.T.E Educational Foundation which assists elementary schools in Africa. As an active member of Teachers Without Borders, Ellen has completed the Certificate of Teaching Mastery and Peace Education online programs and has been facilitating the online peace education program since May 2011.
