Building on a Strong Foundation
Our first-ever Comprehensive Development Campaign will raise 3 million dollars over 3 years and supports 3 comprehensive areas of development: Capital, Endowment, and Expansion.

The National Peace Academy is...
…a nonprofit educational organization that responds to today’s social, institutional, and ecological challenges.

To build peace the National Peace Academy does...
…restorative justice training with a focus on RJ practices in schools; truth-telling and national dialogues around racial injustice, religious intolerance, natural resources; development of peace curricula for schools; and much more.

NPA at Point of View
Point of View is an international retreat and research center dedicated to peace - a "Civilian Camp David" - located at George Mason University's School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (S-CAR). Through an historic collaboration between NPA and S-CAR, Point of View is expanding to include residential facilities and opportunities for joint NPA/S-CAR programming.

The Five Spheres of Peace
Based on the Earth Charter’s definition of peace, NPA’s programs and initiatives focus on five interrelated and interdependent spheres of peace: personal, social, political, institutional, and ecological.

Ripples of Peace
National Peace Academy students and alumni are making "ripples of peace" around the world! Read the stories of how our students our applying what they have been learning on our alumni blog.
